Ok now you see my problem, i am having start-up and idle issues, so i know it has to be the IAC sensor, now the 2.3 is in my hand above and the 2.4 is in the 2.3 TB, as you see the connectors face different directions,as a result the harness doesnt reach the sensor, should I lenghten the wires to connect the harness to the 2.3 IAC or how can i madify the 2.3 IAC to work without messing with the wiring?
where is the wire hanging up at? trace it back and see where its hanging up at and see if you can lenghten it without cutting or adding wire, it might be hung up on something so it cant reach. But your right that you need to use the 2.3 sensor.

Yeah I search before posting unlike many who post,so I knew the problem.
I rooted around in the wire loom and tried to see if I could free up some wire, but there was no way I could get the wires free without cutting an insane amount of tape and I didn't want to run the risk of cutting the wires. I think i am just going to lenthen them, it would probably be easiest.
ok, then just lengthen the wire
