Hey guys I was wondeing if a 1997 2.4L head will fit on a 99 2.4L block, because I have a 99 Z24 and I got my hands on a 1997 cylinder head and I was going to work on the 97 head while I still drive my 99 till the 97 head is done. I would think it would but I have heard that the holes for water might be different. thanks for any help
The water holes are a little bit different, but it works fine. I am running one right now. no mods needed.

Has anyone else done this and had any problems???? I don't want to build up the 97 head if its not going to work
I assure you there are no problems with it. many have done it. This has been asked quite a few times before and the answer is always the same. No problem.

What about a 99 head on a 97 block for a 2.4?
