I was at a shop today and one of the operators told me that the only exhaust metal that won't rust at all is stainless steel. He also said that the others might just have surface rust and not rust all the way through. Is this a common problem. He ended or convo saying that he had a high heat exhaust or something that rusted in a year.
Yes.. if you live any where that rust is a problem (example where you get snow and they use salt on the roads) you will want to get a stainless steel exhaust.. unless you want to buy another exhaust a few years later.
