I was wondering will the stock dual exhaust that run from the manifold of a GT model Sunfire fit a 96 four door sunfire with out modification? I am wondering becuase I think the dual exhaust will look good on my car, but I do not want the loud sound of a dual performance exhaust with loud mufflers. I will be connecting it up to the stock manifold of a 2.2 in case anyone was wondering. Any answers are appreciated.

i asked a few people about this idea before since i found a nice 2.5" cat back but it was for a 2.2L and i have a 2.4L and all the answers were "i dont think it will as the angle of the manifolds on the 2.2 and 2.4L's are different.."
but since this is only a stock peice it shouldnt cost much so you could buy it and try it out.. as no one that i know of knows for sure if it will or not.
Yes it will bolt on.... Just make sure you get all the hangers.

It may bolt up to a Sunfire, I don't know for sure. But it will NOT bolt up to a Cav, I know that. There is something behind the gas tank that requires a custom bent piece of pipe to go around it.

Do you think that adding the dual exhaust woud add any HP.. I know the the answer will more than likely be "no", but I guess it will just be interesting to hear your opinions.

Nope, the exhaust as of one side is sufficient for a J-body since the Z24 are single exhausted.
