i just got my rksport intake in today and it wont fit! I have an 03' fire so i got the corresponding intake from rksport. the problem is, the end of the intake that conects to my car is round, and the piece on my car is oval, and you cant bend this stuff to clamp it. So can someone please tell me im missin a step or something. Any help is much appreciated. <br>

You take out the battery and that part on the car. And remember to put the cone filter at the end and the Sensor from that tube. <br>

the battery was and is out, i dont know anything about this sensor, i left the black box on that connects to the TB on. Am i supposed to take that off and connect it directly to the TB? help meeeeeeee, please. Thanx guys. <br>

most likely.take off the plastic peice over the throttle body and try it,won't know to you try everything.You canmake it fit buddy, just step away from it for a while and think!

ok, the resonator is off, the battery is out and all that other stuff. but the inlet for the TB is pointed up, and the intake doesnt turn sharp enough to clear the hood. so it still doesnt fit. rksport says it fits, i doubt they're wrong so does anyone know something that im missing. all of the intake boxes are out, the car is lifted, the LF tire is off, the inner fender liner is off, the resonator is off, and the battery is out. so again, any help is appreciated. btw, this sucks not having a car. but im sure we've all experienced these situations at one point in time. <br>

It sounds like you are doing way to much work to me...
I just put my intake on my 98 z24 last night and it was easy...
I'm sure this is completly different though... <br>
Can you take some pics to show us what you've got and how you're trying to make it fit?

take everything with your stock air intake out
Then work from there. it will fit. and before i get rip on because i posted a pic of a cavalier it is basically the same process..
