Have you tried the pick-a-part on Wallisville Road? They have a huge amount of 3rd gen jbodies and the prices are dirt cheap. I am going there this weekend to pick up a new dash bezel and a couple other pieces.

I have your number. I will give you a call. I'm going to try to head out there Saturday morning, but can probably do it in the afternoon or Sunday afternoon. My schedule is flexible.

pick-a-part on wallisville has changed owners and prices. it's now called LKO or something like that. some of their prices have gone way up too. i saw a guy buying a headlight, he paid 15 bucks for it, before the ownership change,it cost him 45 bucks that day. but i was told not everything went up in price, so i don't know about the interior stuff.
How long ago did this change go into effect? Ive gone there about 5 times over the past 2 months and the prices have been the same.

I can't really remember when they changed the name, but i havn't really noticed any price differences on any of the stuff i buy from there. but have heard of other people standing in line trying to buy stuff that had gone up in price.
It looks like I will only be able to make it to the junkyard on Saturday morning, very early in the morning. I have a few other errands to take care of later that day. Today when I was driving home from work my car made a very loud hissing sound and then it started to 'puttputt.' It sounded just like an old VW. I think my exhaust manifold gasket gave out so I gotta check that out. I dont have time to fix it right now.

I'll have to miss that one then, I promised the GF we'd go shopping for Cobalts on Saturday morning, unless you wanted to go Sunday. The gasket is pretty easy to fix, its just hell to get to the stud/nut by the water pump.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
It turns out that I am not leaking out of my exhaust gasket. The smoke was coming from a blown off spark plug lol. I tightened it down and everything is great, except for an oil leak coming from under my valve cover. I'm tied up Sunday. But I guess you can head out there whenever you are able to. The place I go to is in east Houston. From Spring, head south on I-45. Then head east on the 610 north loop. Exit Wallisville, and turn left under the bridge. The yard is about a half a mile down on your right hand sign. There is a big sign with an octopus on it.
The exact address is 9314 Wallisville RD, and the phone number is (713) 672-2196. I got this info from Google so I dont know how recent the phone number is. Have fun Ron

A few friends have also told me about a cluster of pick-a-part places on Airline Drive in North Houston. I dont know much info about those places though.

its been a while since if driven through there and i think the octopus sign is gone. i can go over there and look and see what they have if you wanted me to, i don't live very far from there, and its between my house and work too. airline has junk yards everywhere, i've only been down there once. if your coming from the north side of houston, you would come down 45 south and exit airline, and i think you would turn left, and just drive uintil you decided wich junk yard you want to stop at.
went to pick a part on wallisville today, it is now called LKQ the sign is white with black and blue letters. i walked through the late model section and only found 2 2k + cavaliers, one was smashed on the drivers side, so the door panel was trashed too. the other one i found the door panel laying on the ground behind the car, but it was tan and beat up pretty good. they did have quite a few 95-99 cavaliers and sunfires if any body needed parts from any of those. a couple of gt sunfires with the 2.4s still there, but thats about it
I went there this morning.
I was looking for a 95-99 dash top and bezel but I couldnt find a single piece that was in 100% good condition. So I ended up just buying a few small trim pieces and a new latch for my glove box. I really dont like this "LKQ" company. I think the owner of the place hangs out at the exit checking reciepts. He stopped one customer because a part he bought had a few brackets bolted to it that he wasnt charged for. The LKQ guy made a big scene and made the customer go back and pay extra money. Then he continued to embarrass the customer by yelling out that the guy was trying to steal from him or something. Its BS because the cashier is the one who was to blame for this. Another guy in front of me got 4 door panels for an older car and they charged him 30 bucks for each one! I thought that was an outrageous for an old dusty faded door panel. I think I'm done dealing with the Wallisville yard. Dont do business with these people! The prices are too high and employee attitudes are terrible.

yeah he probabaly would have been pissed then when i baught a supercharger for a 3800. they charged me for a turbo because they had no idea what a supercharger was, and didn't even charge me for the throttlebody or any of the other sensors on the charger. iddin't see any decent dash pads either, and the one decent one i found was freaken blue
HEY! lol I found that same blue interior cavy as well. It was the best one I could find. The whole interior was in great shape except for a big crack on the bezel. But when I tried removing the dash pad from the car I accidently put a big crack right down the middle lol. I forgot to remove the 2 bolts hidden down on the lower part of the glove box
I also removed the glove box and just took out the locking mechanism thingy.
I trashed that poor interior
If you ever see my glove box the little handle is still blue
