No, I didn't have a kid. Damn, how scary would that be?? And on soooooo many levels, too. sheesh...shame on you for even thinking it!
No no...this morning, a buddy & I headed down to the Austin area (Round Rock, if you know it) to check out another Miata. Yes, I totally love these little cars, now! Cheap, easy to maintain, decent gas usage, cute, and handle like maddddd!
Well, like you had to ask, she's now mine!
Now I just need a garage and an understanding wife. Ugh...
Anyway, here's a picture taken by the previous owner (I'll have some of my own coming in the nearish future):
Ain't she cute?
I'm such a proud papa!!

Quick? Yeah. Fast? Not so much...
CJ, shoot me another note sometime. We'll work something out on the sway if you want it.
Thanks for the comments, folks!

LOL!
Weirder things have happened! There are a few folks out there who do drift Miatas. There's even a site related to that subject
here.
Most, if not all, of these folks will go the turbo route. Because this car came to me with a nice 4-2-1 header and exhaust, I'd be more likely to pop a roots blower on there. For the early engines, though, this will usually only net 190rwhp, though, and that's with about a grand in fuel mgmt (after buying the blower, intercooler, etc.)!
Can't beat the power-to-weight ratio, though. That's for damn sure!
