North Tx Flooding!!!

Woah guys!! If anyone has had the news on you can see that Gainesville (where i live) is totally flooded. Its like a war zone here. They have hovercrafts, boats, and jet skis rescuing people! I was on my way to work at 6:30 this morning going down the highway in my Cav (just lowered on sportlines BTW) and my car came to a stop!! Thats when I noticed a huge creek flowing over the road. I went through it (had to!!) and it was over my headlights and hood. Scariest thing ive ever done. Car is fine, carpet is dry (how i dont know) and im fine. I ended up pulling off at my dads work and well...here i am. Just got through driving around town with my brother and its simply amazing. The water has to be atleast 6-8ft deep in some parts. Houses just trashed, cars everywhere...its like a mini Katrina. Every news channel helicopter is here. Fox4, NBC4, 11news...its wicked. Anyone else get any treacherous rain?

yup i had to push mine threw an intersection because of the water at least 2.5 ft deep across the entire strech of 28th street in riverside. Cyl 4 got wet thank god that was all that went wrong with my car. I took off the top part of my cai and water poured out lol

Oh man, I've been in very similar situations lol. JR I'm glad to hear your car still runs after being knee deep in water
