I have a friend willing to shave doors for 60 a door.
Here is what is being charged.
2 door car shaved and door poppers installed : $200
4 door car shaves and door poppers installed: $300
(this is the price if u supply your own poppers.)
I am looking into a local company to get a bulk set of poppers, but some people like certain brands and dont wanna only have a brand u wouldnt want.
Let me know if this is reasonable and if you might be interested. Will be getting pics up of the work he did on my 4 door cavalier. Looks great and is extremely smooth.
i'm intrested my car still has a broken lock from when some dipSH#@ tried to break in to it.
thats a alot if its just shaving. So $200 for about 1 hours worth of work. Damm i need to switch degrees, lol. If that doesnt include paint add about another $250 per door for that, so really paint and shaving a 2 door cost about a grand then. I would definately take that money and put into performance but that is just me.
well you know once you shave your door you can never run your car at the track. Unless you get some prosthetic door handles

Josh....ummm. To install Door poppers and shave the doors for that price is high? Have to cut the plates, take off door handles and locks and then weld in the plates. This price does not include paint but it does include primer so it will not rust until paint can be done. Im not seeing getting 2 doors completed in an hour either. Not unless u have the plates precut and door handle already removed. BTW: where the hell did you come up with the grand price? Even with ur numbers (which are high) would only be 700? Yea you might wanna get into a mathmatical degree caues you dont seem to be able to add.
Trying to get like 3 cars together and make a day of it. I have a couple autoloc kits I can use myself. Dario and Gabe will get with u for total details and such.

what degree do you got because im going for a masters degree right now in UTD. In my four year degree at central michigan for computer science i passed Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra.
I was being sarcastic with the grand price just a quick response, even $750 to me is way to high, you can get half a turbo kit for that price and boost the car.

Well I dont need a degree to do simple addition, now do I? Seems I am pretty Successfull without giving some college all my mothers money and still not get a job worth a damn.

And Sorry guys I didnt want to continue this thread if this price was too high. But I called around a few of the local shops and out of the 3 shops the lowest I was quoted was $250 to shave 2 doors and primer both doors. This is not even adding the price for poppers or paint. Poppers was adding $75 per door. So with my Algebraic Calculations I come up with a grand total of $400 bucks for a 2 door car and still needs to be painted. Our price is right at around $300 if we supply the poppers.
