The FFA at Wylie High School (the school I teach at, for those unaware) is hosting their first annual car show on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 3-8 PM in the WHS parking lot. It's $15 to register prior to the event, and $20 the day of. I have pasted the information below; I can get a copy of the registration form for anyone interested (or if enough people want it I can post the registration info here.)

Registered drivers will vote for 1st – and 2nd –Place trophies for 12 car classes, 7 truck classes and 1 motorcycle class. A Best of Show will be chosen by FFA students for each category – Car, Truck, and Motorcycle.
Early Registration (received by September 18) - $15
Day of Show Registration - $20
Registration Fee includes one free hot dog and drink

Hey how would i get there coming from ft worth?
OK we are meeting at the car wash in Sachse. Didn't we agree on 1PM last night?
Anyway, here are the directions.
Get on the George Bush Turnpike (from wherever) and take it ALLLLLLLL the way east until it ends. The last bridge it goes under is Highway 78. You want to exit where it says SACHSE/WYLIE (there is also a "turnpike ends 2500 ft" sign I believe) so you wind on ON the bridge, crossing over the turnpike (you will now be heading north-ish.) You will pass Firewheel Mall on 78 and go through 3 or 4 lights. You will eventually pass a Kroger on the right (where the Sachse Cars Under the Stars show was). Go through the ONE light immediately after the Kroger (Ben Davis Rd - there will be a Church of Christ on the right). You will then pass a shopping center or two and an Exxon gas station. The street past this and to the right is called BROOKVIEW. Turn right on BROOKVIEW and you will see the car wash. 75 cents starts it and you can get a good 8 minutes or so in for a buck fifty.
