Interest?
Wednesday, August 16, 2006 2:23 PM
I just bought a new bike and I do not drive my car anymore. Right now, I just want to see if there was any interest in my 2004 LS Sport. here are some pics. I still need to find out what my payoff is. I might not be able to sell at a reasonable cost.
Mileage is about 59k. I used only Royal purple oil in engine, has K&N filter. Have stock wheels and tires. 80% wear. Very good shape. Has am\FM CD stereo w/XM radio and mp3 player. Fully optioned with Automatic trans. Mileage ranges from 27-36mpg. Depending on traffic. Only have to fill up car once a week. There is NOTHING wrong with this car!
I will have more info soon. BTW, the custom wheels and tires are NOT for sale at this time. The pics are with the custom rims. I dont have any with the factory chrome rims. But they are sharp nonetheless! Enjoy the pics.

Question is what can you afford?

It's really nice I would be very interested because I want to get back into a J. Although I know I would have to refinance it through a bank and with my credit I know I can't do it that way.

I'm still trying to get more info on what my options are....stay tuned. I will sell the rims separate once I decide to proceed.
Or keep them on. With a downpayment on what they are worth. $1300

Ok, The vehicle is for sale for $12000.
Excellent shape, 58k. Car is garaged and still looks and drive new. Former GM technician. Always babied and kept clean and maintained.
You can either purchase or make payments ( still trying to get more info on that possiblity) Pymts are currently 313 a month.

Reason again: Bought Bike, dont use car much anymore.

Make inquiries at folwellf@yahoo.com

Wow, I knew once I put in the price, the crowd would scatter....

yeah 12000 is a bit much i mean you do have rims on it but with 58k miles i would say you are probably going to get any where between 5-8000 tops. Im not saying some one wont pay 12k but not likly. The reason i say this is because i work for a credit union so i know a little bit about it.

It all depends on how much you owe, you probably be better off keeping it.

12000 is close to the retail of the vehicle. I checked the Nada and KBB. they were both close. The 2 sets of rims is included in the cost. It is not better to keep something you dont use anymore. And have to pay 300 + a month to keep in the garage.
Plus insurance....yada yada yada...

ok i did a check yesterday yes you are right the retail is at $12100.00 thats with sun-roof.

Now the loan value with sunroof is at 9200.00, with out sunroof its at 8700.00. That is with taking about 600.00 off for milage. Now if you throw in the stock ls sport rims then i would add about 500.00 to either the 9200, or 8700. Thats what i found out and thats with all the options that a ls sport offers

Ok, I have decided to guage interest in the sale of my new wheels and tires. I purchased them last March and do not have more than 7-8000 miles on them. Here are pics.

Close up

Wheel and tire.

See above if you want to see them on the car. I need to sell to pay off some things and put the car back to stock so I can sell it. I also have some Slotted Baer racing brakes on the vehicle that I might part with. I juust bought a new bike and ride it more than I drive the car...mostly due to getting to work without having to deal with the intense traffic on 45.

The wheels and tires together were over $1300 total, 17" ICW racing wheels, and cooper xeon ultra high performance tires. I beleive they are 215-45/17's. I will take 1100 for them.
Th baer racing disks were over 300 when new....still fairly new I bought them arounfd the same time I bought the wheels and tires. I'll take $200 for those.
I am located in Dickinson. No shipping...
I have a compressor and a jack at home if you want to put them on at my house and leave with them.

Thanks,

Forrest

Car, wheels and tires are still for sale. See above for pics. Make reasonable offers. NEED TO SELL!
NOTE: I WILL NOT separate the wheels or tires. It comes as a package.

Re: Interest?
Wednesday, November 15, 2006 6:22 AM
Someone's already tried La Chica...

Yes it's high, because I paid more than that for the set alone. And they are still pretty new...!

we understand that but here or anywhere the most you might get out of rims 17's or 18's even if they are new or not would probably be around 5-600 at the most. Thats just mho cause i was selling my 18's for 500 and no one bit so i just kept them.
