Thats right...the ole sunfire is officially gone. Sold for $4500 bucks cash. I had a great time modding it since march of 02 but man i had to grow out of the "import scene". Every other red light someone wanted to race and i just wanted to go to flippin work!! Anyways my s10 has come along ways and a new bottem end has already been bought thanks to the ole s-fire.

Anyways guys keep modding and keep having fun. I know i did!!

BTW...if you want to get rid of your car and you dumped around 7k in it...get ready to take it in da butt!!

L8r peeps...

Why didnt you just sell some of the aftermarket parts from the car. I would have been interested in the Konis.

275hp & 306tq - 1999 2.2 ohv
13.2 @ 108 mph
-1996 2.4 liter + Turbo + Built motor + Torco + More boost = Lots o' Power
-2000 Mustang GT + 2004 Cobra motor, Whipple 2.3 supercharger,
built rear-end,Dodge Viper spec T56 6 speed, bolt-ons = wheelies at the track!!!!!

The person that bought it was a moron and the car is already completely trashed. Im happy though...im glad some punk lil rich kid didnt buy it and finish the paint and make it look nice.

Adler....me sellin the konis would require me to take them off and i didnt have stockers...too much work for me. Plus i didnt think i would be able to resale most the stuff and get some money out of it (konis, goldlines, kit, hood, wheels, interior peices, header, pulley and strut bars. I said forget it and just decided to sell the whole thing. Even left my system in it.

O well....i dont even miss the stinkin thing. Those konis rode absolutely horrible. Biggest waste of money i spent. Only thing that was cool with makin it really stiff at the track and just launchin very good. O well...

Small block chevy parts are alot cheaper. I got a 350 gettin .60 over with steel crank, forged rods, FT pistons, 77 h series bearings, race prep block, race tolerances, arp hardware (mains and rods), new oil pump, balancer and gaskets for 1700 fully assembled (my block). Got some extremely ported and bad to the bone double hump heads (64cc with 202 160) for 800 bux and got roller rockers, pushrods, lifters, gear drive and more goodies! (intake, carb, MSD dist & box) and fixin to order the nitrous. Its so much cheaper to mod and make fast.

ALOT FASTER
I put in a .40 over 355 with dished pistons (8-1) and mild cam w/stock dhump heads in my 2600lb s10 with 410 gears w/slicks and ran 8.7 at sanger with no bottem end due to lack of compression (newer motor, sucky piston choice).

Dailly driven w/turbo 350. Impressive!! now its gonna flippin scream! Were all hoping for low-mid 7's with a 75 shot!

I dunno....the sunfire was good to me but just got bored with it.. I felt real childish in it. Now i just drive my 99 gmc (w/dubs!) and build the s10.

Anywho....i still have like a stock hood (small minor hail) and some crappy stock bumpers etc.
