Texas J's - MEMORIES - may you rest in peace

THIS WILL BE MY LAST POST AS THE TEXAS J PREZ:

THE TEXAS J'S ARE NO MORE!!!. obviously things have changed over the weekend. i said i was going to step back and see what happens after the dust settles. ramon took off with the club, which is fine, and renamed it. JD has some news coming soon. so after todays events i will be taking a back seat. im sorry i wasn't very good at running the club and i failed in the long run. i gave it my best but i guess my best wasnt good enough! the drama in the club just took to much out of me and the fun out of it. id like to thank all to the memories that were created thru the 3 years: all the friendships, all the travels, all the shows, and all the good times WE HAD. it was a great experience! theres no hard feelings towards any and hope all goes well for both. many friendships were created thru the texas j's and hope they continue. if yall need a mod day let me know and we can still throw down some food and work on cars i will still be around and see yall at shows prolly. im glad to see where we got from when i 1st started meets in summer of 03 w/curtis and jux (& others) to close to 30. good luck to both clubs as texas j's parts ways. there is no need to bash any or start drama. things are turning in 2 directions. lets remember the good times in the memorial of the texas j's and what it did for all of us and the education many took from mod days. this was a great experience and lets just take away from what we learned while in the club.

post any GOOD memories that we had.

TEXAS J'S RIP 6/18/2006.
(maybe we can have a get together each year in memory of the texas j's, where we all started from)

fun memories-

JD's upgraded spolier

JD blowing tire on out-of-town-trip

my digging erics yard with front kit

muddy NB show

ah ya HOST HOTEL -need i say more

you did your best and made many friends but things don't always last for ever. As president of SA j bodies I see what you say. The dreams that we see are not always whats others see and as I see many of my own friends move to other cars or loose there cars I realize that jbodies are slowley dying out and all we can do is remain friends with the parted. But to some of us we try to remain part and drive others to feel as we do. That is not always the route to take.

This past saturday we had a very scary incident amongst the Sajbodies. One of our close and dear friends Ozzie suffered an accident. Is was then I realized that a car club is not about the cars or the shows. It's about friends that you could view as family. And to several of us we saw that first hand when at the blink of an eye all past and present sa jbodies showed up there to the emergency room. And none of us were asked to be there but we came none the less. Cause j-body or not we are family and Ozzie is like a brother to me.

and when your family it doesn't matter what you drive you are always welcomed in SA jbodies.

p.s. Ozzie is fine and is doing well

Speed zone need i say anymore

And will like i said you did a gell of a job running the club like i told you on the phone i was there when it all started and i be damned to see it fall to pieces. We worked hard through out those three years and to see it all fall would be to hard to watch.

No hard feelings to those who left and no hard feelings to jd for wanting to start his own thing.

We will still see each other at shows hopefully get together before HIN like we have been doing, also for the show in december. We will be two different clubs but we are still friends in the long run.

Man this is a shame the only reason i got my cavy was because of the group, if it wasnt for yall i would have gotten the BOX

Oh and the only reason i re-named it was because we are mostly from the dallas ft worth area, when we have a BIG j meet we are then have a texas j meet.

Oh and for the people who are not answering their phones answer them for the love of god.

BAahahah! ITS NOT GREEN! I sware!

Nah i had countless fun times with yall. Sad i am to see this happen, but all good things come to an end at some point. I think we all tho, can look back and say we all have become more than just friends, we're a big family and nothing can take that away from us. ITs been an amazing few years with yall, although i hadnt been around for everything i wont forget what i have been around for and what great people you all are.

I'll never forget William and I being the lone J's at meets in Lewsiville, before even talks of a club started.

I'll never forget the first regional meet in dallas, with everybody from OK and beyond.

Speed zone im sure everybody knows has nothing but great memories.

I'll never forget mod days, altough sometimes we accomplish little and sometimes we do, we are together and having fun

I wont froget the furst houston meet riding only with paul and william down, and me and ramon listening to the same music over and over.

I could literally go on for hours about all the great memories with you guys, i do regret not having been around lately with working fulltime and school fulltime, but nothing can take away what memories i do have and what i had come to value in the people involved in this club.

Thank you guys for being my J-body family
