Lonestar was founded about 10 yrs ago as a championship 1/8 mile dragstrip. We recently took over operation of the facility and we are planning some big improvements very soon. Including:

1/4 mile dragstrip extension (I am a 1/4 mile guy myself)

2 acres of paved pit area

Drift Track

2+ mile road race

On-site Chassis Dyno (Dynojet - maybe AWD)

We hope to open up the 1/4 mile to the public sometime this summer. In the mean time we plan to do a dedicated Import nite every month. The first one will be this coming Friday - April 28th.

We will be offering $100 to the quickest ET import of the nite and $100 for the import with the fastest trap speed (mph) in the 1/8 mile. Also we will offer another $50 to the quickest ET front wheel drive car too. We will also be doing a bracket race for all imports. The winner will get a very nice trophy.

Thank you for allowing us to introduce Lonestar to you. We are located righ on Interstate 10 at the 713 exit. We are about 45 minutes west of I-10 and the Beltway. Our location is great if you ever want to meet one of your friends from Austin or San Antonio for a race as we are not too far from those cities as well."

This is some information I got from a local car forum. As they said it will hapen every month with the first on the 28th. We still have one on the East side of town but now we have on the West side of town in Sealy.
