Got the car running 100% and now fixing to put the air ride kit on it. Once the Air Ride is completed I want to Fully kit the car. I already have the Fenders and need the Hood and Bumper at this point.
And if anyone has a Rear Bumper that is Dual Exhaust I am in need of that, but isnt needed as bad as the front right now.
I have a Rear Bumper that is a Street Fighter Design that is Brand new for sale. Also have side skirts that I believe are for a 2 door that are Street Fighter for sale as well.
Need all this to be local because I dont wanna pay for shipping or have to box anything up.
Anything u have please email me at Uncivilmotorsports@sbcglobal.net
Thanks
Brandon
Its too bad its not for a 03+ sunfire.
let me know when you install air i wouldnt mind learning if thats ok.
Cool Deal I think Imma have an install meet to do it. I have a house and food and all the good things in life. Just not any idea how to install air ride.
Someone has to have a front bumper for sale. Got a hood coming on Saturday. Just need the front bumper now.
The hardest part of air ride is running line. IF you mount all the valves together it makes it easier. JUst make damn sure that the front two airlines are EQUAL length between valves and bags. If not then the car will not lift evenly. THe rear lines need to be equal to each other also. But they are shorter and easier.
I have two valves at each corner of the car real clsoe to the bags. So getting the line equal is easy. But then you have to run electrical from all over the place. But electrical dosnt have to be equal length. So I find this easier and it keeps the valves out of the trunk and out of the way.
Smartest thing you can do is mount your tank and compresor(s) before even having a install day. Get that stuff in and decide on how you want to run things.
Do you want valves on tank or Not? Do you want front valves up front hidden or in back?
Do you want straight fitting coming of the valves or 90s?
Draw it all out on papper. Draw out each peice. Every valve, ever reducer (may need to reduce the fitting on the pressure switch in order to fit into tank)and every everything.
Draw all this stuff out so you can count up exactly what you need and have it already.

Holy mother of god. You just confused the hell outta me. I think I may just have to pay someone to do it for me. All I am wanting in the Trunk period is the tanks. Valves and Compressors I want mounted outside. I am wanting the trunk to be pure show looking. Gonna have the sound system fiberglassed and the tanks painted and mounted in the trunk all together. Therefore i think all the other items would look out of place.
Ive been drinking. So go have some drinks yourself than try and read that. It might make more sence then.
Or try this.
Hook up everything but the bags.
Test it out. Make sure your tank fills up and has no leaks.
Teast out each corner.
Make sure air is coming out of the proper places.
If everything is good then bolt up the new air struts and plug them into the line that you already have run to that location.
You may need one weekend to wire up the hardware the way you want it.
Once all thats done swapping out the struts is a no brainer.

Oh ok I see where u are going with this now. So I can have it all wired up and ran and be able to tell if it is working properly before I even add the Struts to the car. Cool doing it that way will be perfect. Crazy the simple things like that most people dont even think to do.
Is the best way to do the valves to do them at the Struts? Because I am wanting them that way if possible. And I have 2 5 gallon tanks and 2 Compressors. Is this overkill?
Dude thanks for all your help and info so far! Very appreciated for a stoopid Noob like myself!
I like having my valves byt he struts. I run one main line to the front. It T's off and splits to eather side. Its easier to get the lines equal length this way. my front valves are under each front headlight.
Now for the rear you may still want them in the trunk. THe struts you have have the line running right threw the strut tower I think. SO I would run the line in and up under the rear deck. I would then have all 4 rear valves set up in line and have them hanging from under the deck out of the way.
As for me. I'll be mounting my rear valves under the car this time since my rear bags arnt like the easystreet struts.
