I have been curious, Are there more Cavaliers than Sunfires in the J-bodies in Texas? I had both but I've always liked the sunnys more than the cavaliers I also likes Trans Ams more than Camaros. I guess Pontiac puts a little more effort in their cars than Chevrolet. Don't get me wrong.... I only have a Cavalier at this time but I wish it was a SUNFIRE ....
Anyways does anybody have a rough idea on how many Sunnys and how many Cavys? It might be worth to fix up my Cavalier after all.

Well in the club the cavys out number the fires about 10-2 so yeah.
sunbirds from 1980-1994 = 10

Lets see i went to car domain and looked up sunfires from 1994-2005 = 77


Cavaliers from 1982-2005 = 212



so a grand total of sunbirds/sunfires ===== 87


and a grand total of cavaliers ======= 212


then you divide 212/87 so cavaliers out number sunbirds/sunfures about 3:1


keep your cavy they make more things for it then a fire

Damn! You know your numbers man. I'll probably keep mine but the reason why I like sunfiers is because their look is more agressive and most things you do with it are kustom and that's when you let the imagination go off........ Thanx for the info It actually makes me want a Sunfire more to help even those numbers... I'll probably still keep the cavy though.

do a cavfire man. front end swap to a sunfire with aggressive look. then swap the interior dash. jus my 2 cents.

there are way more cavs then fires almost double the productions every year. one guy posted all the years and how many of each, if i can find it. but ya theres way more cavs then fires. i think the best swap ive seen is the guy that had a convertable cav and did a 03 fire front. so it looks like a conv fire. thats the best cavfire ive seen.

You know how the cavys & the Sunnys are made in Mexico. GM is about 3 hours away from my house in Mexico, I heard last time the employees were selling the ecotech engines brand new for about $1000 dls All Assembled. We ghetto!!
