im new to this but been thinking about a rear conversion on my 03 fire for a cav tail end. i hear they aren't to hard but seeing if any one else might be interested in an ass change. would love the cavy tail so i could get the JDM tails. just checking for any other interest
william do you realize how much work it is going to be to swap ass ends....the ass end of our cars are all welded on.
I looked into this a while back and realized that it was alot more work than i had the money or the time for.....

thats why i was asking. i guess front ends are easir\er? damn that sucks .
yep front ends are sooo freaking easy compared to the rear pretty much like putting on a new body-kit except for the headlight change

damn that sucks id really like to do an ass change even if it wasnt the older cav one so i could get JDM tails, the new cav ends arent too bad. oh well.............
I'll trade you cars, then we can swap fronts.....that'll give you the cav rear you want.

Find a cavy shell and slap your drivetrain, frontend, and interior in it. Easy enough right
Well the rear plastic inside around the windows would have to be from the cavy because of the window shape.

id do that but my tails are more like a trianleish shape then the cavs
toyota tails require splicing a few wires, and disconnecting one in the steering column.
i have yet to see a sunvalier with 'yota tails. it might just be the hotness...

ya i saw someone post on the install. tempted to sale the truck and get an cav. worst case get an 03 up yellow cav and switch front ends then have 2 cavfires!!
if i was to trade fronts w/anyone it would be paul, dion, or amanda so i wouldnt have to worry about getting it painted! besides that would defeat the idea i want.
i decided im gonna go back stock for awhile if u still want the kit let me know

yes, but i dont want to switch front ends. i love the 03 front end. i started looking for a early/mid 90's z24 vert cavy to swap front ends and sale the truck to get it.
. why cant the damn tails be as easy to swap.
