we woke up sun morning and someone shot our cars w/a fire extinguisher. had the dust all over jd's, dereks car, mine had some on it. when checking out they were working on the fire system people messed up. rolling down stairs in a shopping buggie. people throwing beer cans at cop cars, someone even punched an officer sat night while we were gone! people tore the straps on the pool chairs. drifting around the parking lot and burnouts all night long. fireworks/crackers. wet t-shirt contest and naked swimmers. and yes this was ALL at the hotel.........
talking about drama and action. we were able to avoid it and met a few cool people! felt like spring break
Crazyness...Sounds like fun - to bad we couldnt make it out there...but it's cool were saving our trip for H.I.N

took like and hour though. will man that sucks that yalls car got sprayed with the exstinguisher. but yea this was the craziest heatwave in a long time. plus derek and i got to see some t & a lol . wish i woulda taken some pics of the trucks that had lifts and bags. and some pics of the burnouts. oh well. i got to see it

oh yea and area51 that interior shot of the tank in the console was in that truck just below that pic. i didnt get a good pic of it because too many people were around it. the tank was bubbling with green liquid. im going to try to make it up to H.I.N. but it all is going to depend on if i can get new tires for my rims. if not then i might not be able to. i dont trust my tires to drive that far. we'll see though.

Wow you got pics of the exact opposite of mine. I took around 260 pics of mostly trucks and some girls we had stripping on my friends truck.
Two of my friends did alright in the show. One got 1st in Clossed bed Tacoma. the other guy got 3rd in open bed Tocama.
Not sure if Moleman posted it. But I couldnt show because thursday night, after hours of detail work on my Cavy, one of my rear air bags blew the lower plate off. ANd I had no spare nor could I find one. One friend called friday after I was already in Austin and said he had TWO that he had forgoten about. ALot of good that was after hitching a ride with my dad to the show.
I loved the show. I spent alot of my walking around time talking to S10 owners. I just purchased a 98 if you didnt know. Trying to figure out whats good and whats bad for the trucks. All the rest of my time I was drinking. WOO WOO.
I was there friday from 10am till 5ish and sat I was sitting under my cover at 6:20 AM drinking a beer. It was raining and they werent even letting people in yet. But I was rolling with my dad and he drove around the long line and we sat and wached the line build up for 20 minutes before they actuly opened the gates. SOme of these guys were in trucks witht he tops cut off and they were hard core sitting the line getting soked inside there trucks. I had an awsome time.
We had three pop up cover things pluss a tree to shade us. ANd about 5 chest of beer and liquer. Oh and some of the best damn pork ribs I ever had.
I am pissed off that my friends wife reserved our hotel someplace else and not the host hotel were yall partied at. I think that was a cruel joke of hers.

ha yea esb that hotel was crazy . number one hotel for the heatwave, so ive heard. i wanted to take more pics but i ran out of film. 5 rolls went fast!! . jd i can wait man, but hurry up!! lol

wrong about that being the only cavalier in the show.....did noone walk down to the sound part and see that sick ass cavalier with the clear seats? that was one modified cavalier......
but yea i saw that one once and the blue cav....where was esb? i thought that he was going to be there this year with his cav.

well i ment the only cav IN the show. brents cav ( whith the clear seats) was just at his booth. his cav was beautiful in person. some pics of it ^^ there. and as far as esb . he said one of his bags busted so he couldnt take the cav.
