I know a lot of you guys will be in New Braunfels on the weekend so I hope we can see you guys on either Sat. or Sun. at the 3rd Annual Meltdown Custom Car & Truck Show in New Braunfels at the Texas Ski Ranch.
This year will have between 200-250 entries with over 3000 spectators watching the wakeboard comp., skateboard comp. and truck show. In addition 4 live bands and bikini contest.

I want to attend this show badly. THis was my first plan. BUt never could find a date on it.
But we need to all get together on this and make sure we work out our meet spot and everything. We need to know if people are actualy going to get there at a certain time so that we can roll in together.
AND mainly make sure csan75 can get his money back sence he went threw all the trouble of getting us a spot at the park.

The beauty of the two day event is that we have people driving in from Houston and Dallas for Sunday only, so if they leave on Saturday and they win, we will arrange for their trophy to get to them.
We are pretty flexible. Again, just trying to make it easy for you guys to partake in the madness.

it should be about a 4/5 hr drive so we would get there around 10/11. i would like to leave a little earlier but no one posted. go back to the north texas post and we can discuss it there........................
Well this will also be a bit closer for all you coming from up north. A good 20 minutes shorter because your not driving into town trying to find the park.

jp Perales can we bring our own small BBQ pit with us into the show with us. Icechest and all that? IM thinking this pretty much goes like the Texas Heat wave does as far as that kinda stuff is.
ANd is there anyone in paticualr that we need to talk to at gate to make sure we get a spot all together? I will be in a group of about 4-5 from Houston. but It may be hard for the dif groups to meet up before the show.

BBQ was done last year and we don't have show policy against it.
Coolers yes, but be aware that the Texas Ski Ranch will be charging a cooler fee.
*Solution- wal mart has freezer bags that keep things cold and does not look like a cooler,,,I'm not saying to do this, but be creative
We are willing to work hard to make sure your guys park together, so in the absence of the entire club being together initially, we will probably stage you guys at the back of the area to wait for the J-crew. We are expecting no less than 150 rides so it's going to be a busy place in the morning. Move in time is between 9:30 am -12:00pm
I will have a registration, classification, and a parking crew ready to help with this, and I will be there of course to help out.
It would help to have the folks attending the show to send me entry forms ahead of time so that we can make this a smooth process.
