There is going to be a pretty big car show and spl contest in Glenwood springs, Co june 26th in front of the west Glenwood mall between Big o tires and Alpine bank. I do not want to be the only J-body there like I am every year so the more the better. All I know so far is the date and registration is @ 11am. There will be food, drink (no beer I tried!) wet t-shirt contest with a prize of $200, wheels display etc............ any other info call ASP @ 970-928-8500. Post if you are interested and I will make sure we have enough food and drink for everyone. The show is sponsored by Coke, Memphis audio, Big O Tires ans Snap-on. Just found out the Volvo Evolve cars from Fast and Furious 3 are going to be there too.
any chance you can find out the classes they will have for the show as far as awards and stuff go?
For classes they will have Street, Classic, and Off Road. 1st place is a trophy and 2nd is a plaque. There will also be a Best of show trophy, as well as giveaway's. Dont forget the wet t-shirt contest with a prize of $200, so bring the ladys they are hoping for a good turnout.
Contest is coming up this weekend! I really need some fellow J's out here to show this area whats up! I am the only clean J out here in Glenwood so the more the better. Back me up guys, you would not want me to be shown up by all these honda's and acura's do you? Need a list, who's with me?
I tried to get them to move it because of that and it was too late. Oh well they usually have two shows a year so I will keep everyone informed on the next one.
Ok spl contest classes, 0-500 watts, 501-1000 watts, 1001-up watts, Pro class. 1st 2nd and 3rd place trophy's with giveaways. Anything else let me know.
By the way its $10 to get into the car show and $25 to get into the SPL contest.
