In November, I traded my Green '99 Cavalier Sedan for a new '04 LS Sport Sedan at a time they were nearly giving them away.
Nice car, Great Eco engine,,, night and day difference between the two cars as far as the way they handle. It's too bad that once the J body was at its best, they discontinued it.
To make a long story short, I wasn't driving this car. I end up using my ten year old truck more and left the new car in the garage most of the time. I then decided to cut my losses now and get someting that fits my wishes and needs a little better.
I sold theLS last Friday with only 3,000 miles on it. He got a good deal on it , and so did I.
I would like to thank you for all the info,, fun and good times. Each of you make up a good site here.
But now is the tough part.....Deciding on what to order up and outfit the '06 MINI I have put money down on.
Skirts and open toe sandals go great with MINI's. Make sure you color coordinate yer lipstick to your new car.

S or just a cooper?
Either way it's an upgrade. (handling wise) Watch out for plastic trim peices (esp. the engine comp.), they like to break.
But those things are waay cramped in the back.
Also, I'm not sure if they changed it, but pop off the cap on the rear windshield washer arm. Now you can shoot cars with water. hahaha

Yes I'm "geleous" AHAHAHA
Wow thats really low mileage, i just got rid of mine after 100,000 and got my 05' SRT-4, i love it! good luck with the mini
I kind of asked for that one didn't I?
I am kind of cheap so I am not sure if I want to spend the extra $3,000+ for an "S".
Earth , I hope you are having fun with your SRT. I drove one and it was a good machine. I found a zero mile2004, but they won't go down on the price. Oh yea I still have the spoiler off your '99 if you wanted to buy it back as a souvinier.

yeah i like it, its kinda acting up though, i saw it boost past 20 psi the other day. i got my 05 on a special order for dealer invoice, so i guess i cant really complain about that.
im actually still trying to get rid of a few parts i have
How much did you sell the LS for? That's too bad, but the Mini will be cool. I'm geleous

Hi, I guess it has been awhile...
I sold my LS for what I paid for it. $10k.
The other day I went out and picked up my MINI. I special ordered the car from the factory and got exactly what I could afford. I got a basic Liquid Yellow Cooper with a white hardtop. It's got all kinds of power to pull it out of a dead stop. With only 115hp and 2600 lbs, it moves pretty quick. I accidentally smoked the tires leaving a Stop Sign the other day. Driving a MINI is like a go-cart, unbelievable when going around corners.
Good handling car, I can imagine. Lots of power, from a 1.6L, no so much. But it's a overall better car than a base cav/sunfire. Just be carefull of plastic parts. They break easily.
Well besides what anyone says Kevin you got the car you wanted. I know you've been wanting the Cooper for quite some time now....Rite on and congrats.....now only if I can get my tahoe....
