just pulled the transmission from my 97 z24 5spd, and going to be replacing it with another 5spd tranny, i wanna put new fluids, all gm dealerships around here are to far to drive to as i dont got a vehicle till my carts fixed, so no gm syncromesh for me....what other transmission fluid can i use?......iv never done the fluids in this car before, also iv got the clutch fluid container in my car, do i need special clutch fluid or is it just the regular tranny fluid?
wow next time wait longer than 40 mins
why not go to pep boys or autozone, they sell fluid
Our you can use the NyQuil in ßãggéÐÇåv98 (Ûñqùðtäߣè Øñé)'s sig.
Hey,
If it calls for syncromesh, you can use GM syncromesh, or Amsoil syncromesh. Use whatever GM calls for, so unless it calls for Dexron ATF, dont use it!!
Take care,
