I was driving to a friends house today and i downshifted at the light before i got there because its really snowy out and i didnt want to slam on my brakes, Anyway, it was a little hard getting the car into first at about 15mph but i didnt think anything of it cuz its cold out and the car likes to be stupid when its cold. I drove fine for another 2 or 3 blocks and shifted from 2nd into 3rd but when i let my clutch out it didnt catch like it should. So i tried shifting into 4th, and 2nd and neither work.. I got the car pulled over and now no matter what gear i move the shifter into it pops back into the middle. Theres no tension moving the car into the gear positions either.. its just smooth moving everywhere. I dont know what it is, i was thinking maybe the shift cables? clutch? tranny? if anyone knows what this is id appreciate it
so if you put it in gear and let off the clutch, then it pops back into neutral? sounds like syncros
my grand am had that happen to me... it was a shift cable for me
You'll never touch God's hand
You'll never taste God's breath
Because you'll never see the second coming
Life's too short to be focused on insanity
I've seen the ways of God
I'll take the devil any day
