idling problem
Thursday, December 29, 2005 3:48 PM
got the car started, runs good but is idling all over the place, at first it was staying at 4,000 rpm steady no matter what, and now it surges from 1500-2000rpm constantly and is annoying as hell

well if there is a cel i'd try to putt down the road to autozone or wherever and get them suckers read. then you;d probably know what is going on and not just start throwing money towards the car HOPING to fix it.

IAC Motor isnt plugged in, mine came disconnected once, and i had the same CEL/Issue, plugged it back in, and it seemed fine afterword. If its plugged in, im betting the motor is bad, or needs to reset somehow.

another funny thing iv noticed is the car wont heat up like normal, it will just barely got past the 45 mark, not to 90 like it usually used to....and it wont let the rpms drop any further down then 1500rpm, its lik when i let my foot off the gas instead of the rpms dropping it jsut stays and keeps itself going instead
