Hey guyz i am having a bit of a problem. I don't know much about cars so i am asking you in hopes of your knowledge to help me. I started my car up early to move her next to my neon so i can use the cigarette lighter to pump up my rear tire. Afterwards i installed my new tails and headlights on the neon. During this time frame i had the key in the ignition so i can play my stereo. I stopped listening to the stereo for about an hour and after i was done putting everything back on the neon i went to start the Cav and she wouldn't start. She makes this damn ticking noise. Is my starter bad?
I'm no mechanic, but you may have drained the battery. Depending on the stereo system and lights on etc.
Did you try jumping it?
Just a suggestion, Hope it's nothing serious.
Merry CHRISTmas!!

I agree with Mike and Richard, but prior to jump starting make sure the battery connection are clean & in good condition. Good luck.
