The obvious if you havent already?
Air filter
Fuel Filter
Coolant flush
may want to do the same with brake, trans and power steering fluids
Plugs, and wires if you have a 2.2
Run some cleaner or such through the fuel, IE seafoam, techron ect..

maybe change your oil to a higher weight to lubricate older engine parts just a sugg.

stock plugs are great if you have nothing major done to the engine. (AC Delco's).
Get some 8mm wires at least. these worked good on our race car. Now available for 4cyl apps.

Bosch 8.8's are good too IMO.
New pcv valve. Cant remember if your car actually has one...its been a while.
And all the stuff Brandon said to do.
You may also want to check your belt and all hoses for signs of wear.
IE: spongy or sticky.
