Factory scheduled maintenance

Does anyone follow the recommended service schedule? My car is still under warranty so I try to at least get most of the recommended items done according to the car's maintenance schedule. Some of the items seem sort of unnecessary (lube the doors and hinges) unless there is a problem. Any opinions?

Stolen, i suggest you reread his question.

Yes,Blue shark, some people do go by it, Reason being, its there for a reason. I lube the doors and hinges every 3 months, I lube the tie rods every time i change my oil which is about once every month and a half. Im in the process of replacing my hoses, Most are dry rotting.

The main idea behind it, is to not ever have a problem if you keep up with its regular maintance. It will save you alot of money in the long run.
