Mobil Oil Vs Quaker high mileage Vs Lucas??

hello well i have 2 pretty high mileage cavs. one has 121k other one has 168k i was wondering a couple things that i heard

Should i use a 10-30 instead of 5-30 due to my engine being older? i heard the thicker oil lubes the older parts better

What do you think is better that mobil 5000 stuff or quaker high mileage (the mobil id def. change b4 5k miles)

What about the lucas additive ive heard various things about it some good some bad i dont want to put anything in my engine that will hurt it.

Please leave me any other tips for high mileage engines id like one of them to be one o the few if any 2.4s to hit 200k

I've started to use 10w-30 in my 177K 2.2 in the summer months, staying with 5w-30 in the winter. Just keep changing the oil WITH the filter at 3-5K mile intervals. Let the engine idle about a half minute at startup, then drive conservatively for about 5 minutes, then normal. I only start reving mine about half-way to operating temperature. 'Warm-up' idling will take longer to warm up than gentle driving.
