Ok, the head gasket blew on my cavalier... its a 95 2.2L ohv
We have everything torn apart but we are having trouble trying to figure out how the power steering pump is attached to the head. Any help is appreciated, i just cant figure out how to get that pump off.
have you removed the three bolts from behind the pulley?
there is alsoa small bolt on the fiewall side holding a small brace.
how do you remove the bolts behind the pulley, we are completely stumped at the moment
use the holes in the pulley , just stick your finger in there and you will feel where they are
Ok if cardomain does not own me this is the bracket that bolts to the head water pump ect. the three holes on the left is where the water pump bolts to.the bolts go through the bracket and back in to the pump body so you have to lift it up

I like to leave the intake on the car i think it is easier
thanks man, you answered my question, if i would have looked harder i would have noticed that
Make sure you have the head resurfaced and checked for cracks. If you need one let me know, I have one I will get rid of.
