I think my starter is gone, or something because the past few days in the cold sometimes when i go to start it i hear a scratching noise and then wont fire, and itll do that 2/3 times then start.. today this morning it didnt start so we pushed the car 2 guys pushed and I kept the car in gear, and while the car was being pushed i could start it cause the flywheel cranked over... I dont really understand that whole concept but it works, my dad and buddy explained it.. let the clutch out and turn it over while moving..
anyways how hard is it to change the starter on these 2.2s?
Pretty easy and straightforward. From what I can remember last one I changed I put it on ramps and took it off from under the car.
