Hello, having a problem with my 95 cavalier 2 door. When i am driving, i hear a noise like something is dragging somewhere, and when i brake, the wheels seem to lock up and the car skids to a stop...even at slow speeds...also the ABS light is always on...havent driven for awhile...just noticed it the other day when i went out...any suggestions what it could be? or what i could check? Thanks

Check your entire abs brake system, fluid level, sensors, fuses, relys etc. there is alot that can go wrong especially if it has been sitting.hope this might lead you to the answer

well the fluid is fine, fuses are good....i guess i will have to check the relays and sensors...would a faulty relay or sensor cause the brakes to constantly "lock" like this? a friend of mine told me my brakes might have seized from sitting so long...

The ABS light means you have NO ABS working.

So if you have good brakes or seized one, your gonna lock and skid.
