WATER PUMP QUESTION??

HEY GUYS JUS WONDERING FOR THE 2.4 CAV... WATERPUMP DO YOU HAVE TO LIFT THE ENGINE TO CHANGE THA WATER PUMP? ....CAUSE I KNO FOR THE 2.2 YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUT I'M NOT SURE BOUT THIS ONE CAUSE OF THA CRAMMAGE OF THA ENGINE AND ITS WAY DOWN IN THERE !!! THNX ....WARIOSPEED

YES, YOU HAVE TO PUT A JACK UNDER THE MOTOR, REMOVE THE ENGINE MOUNT, AND JACK THE MOTOR UP AND DOWN AS NEEDED TO REMOVE THE WATER PUMP BECAUSE THE WATER-PUMP IS IN THE BACK OF THE MOTOR.
IT TAKES ABOUT 6 TO 8 HOURS ON THE 2.4 TWIN CAM

like everyone said, stop using Caps. it makes it harder for us to read.

probaly would be easier to remove the engine and do it.

The water pump on the 2200 is real easy.

Remove belt, and alt bracketm gives easy access to water pump.
