i took my car to the mecahnics lately because it wont turn over after the engine swap i did (as many of you might of read from my previous post).
the mechanic said the cam and crank sensors arent getting power, and that i fried somthing in my wiring harness.
but he said the ECU isnt storing codes. the engine check light is on, but its not storing codes.
does this mean my ECU was damaged and that if i do fix the wiring it still wont start now?
thanks!

Have you checked your cigarette lighter fuse? The ECU port is on the same fuse as your cigarette lighter believe it or not. I couldn't get codes from mine and i realized that fuse was blown. Replaced it and i got more bad news! lol....figure out one thing just to find out something worse.
i checked all the fuses under the hood and also in the dash by the door.
is the cigarrete lighter fuse in one of those 2 boxes i checked? or is the fuse your talking about hidden somewhere else?

Should be the fuse right about in the center of the fuses inside the door on the side of the dash. If you look at the back of your cover it will say CIG i'm almost positive. Just an idea....i didn't know they were on the same fuse till the other day when my bro's car wouldn't throw any codes. We found out it was that fuse, then we got codes.
