my turn signals on my 2000 z24 aren't blinking instead they are remaining solid and i dont know why does anybody know
When was the last time you replaced the bulbs?
If they remain ON solid it means the basic circuitry is good, as you have a path from +12volts to earth, through the lamps-hence the lights illuminate.
Turn signals operate on the current drawn (ie Wattage) of the lamps, which is why they flash faster with one lamp out, as an indication that you have a fault.
They usually operate on the bi-mettalic strip in the flasher unit bending and opening /closing contacts as the strip is heated (by the current drawn) and then cooled as the contact breaks. In your case the strip has closed the contacts and then failed to open them.
I would check/change your flasher relay next, as Red suggests.

i have a 2000 cav as well with the same problem....... and i've changed the bulbs so i know its not that and i've changed one of the relays and it still doesn't want to work so i'm fresh out of ideas! also my brake lights don't flash fully it looks as if i'm pressing and releasing the brake over and over again when it is being pressed constantly so i really don't know wat 2 do now
did you check the blinker fluid?
(sorry but its a joke with me and all my friends

)

Girls make me mad and break my heart, but my car is always there for me.
your turn signal switch will do the same thing as the flasher going bad and also check your fuse.
thanks ill check it out when i get the car back cause im kinda grounded lol
srry im a young kid well that is if you consider 18 young
change your bulbs, front and back both sides
check the fluid eh.... i'll get right one that

ahha well onto serious matters..
well in my case i've checked the fuse, the bulbs (front & back) the connectors work cuz they power the evening lights so i don't see why they would malfunction with the blinkers... so i seriously have no idea wat the problem is.. any idea about my break light situation? cuz i'm stumped...
