missing at low revs

Ok, this is kinda odd, i just changed my intake gasket, and one O-ring on the #3 injector(had a nice chunk out of it) but its still missing. if i go below about 3 grand, and hit the gas just a lil bit too far, it starts missin, and buckin and carryin on.

my guess is the coils. i just cleaned my plugs, all of them had white ground electrode, but the porcealane(sp) around the positive electrode wasa nice toasted marshmallow colour. I also cleaned my springs, they all seem good, no breaks, thin spots, no corrosion. I also just put on a coil cap/spark distribution tower half way thru summer. seen as how i got the old style blakc one, could it be bad again already (i heard the blakc ones were junk, and were replaced by the white ones.

n e suggestions would be nice

i had this exact prob with my fire at 2500 rpms. do you know where your pcm is? there is wheel opening cover on the passanger side, if its not there buy the cover there is moister getting in the pcm somewhere. thats the prob i had. have you got any of the codes read? i started with the crank sensor, then cam sensor,i also changed the ignition control module. check the easy stuff first. saves ya money in the long run. good luck hope i could help.

maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day

what kind of plugs are you using?? i had bosch plugs and my car was missing the same way and i replaced them with delco and it runs a lot better now. also that tower is very common for creating high resistance in the ignition circuit, i'd say change your plugs, tower, and boots.

im runnin A/C Delco Platinum plugs

it's come down to most likely being the Coil cover/distributor of sorts. It had the white one b4, but it got fucl<ed up, so i got a new one, but advance only had the black ones at the time, so i ended up gettin that, and i heard they're nothin but CRAP, so im gonna turn it in for the warranty and get the white Borg Warner(i think that what it was.) one for $60 and hopefully be done with this freakin problem
