2000 Cavalier 5 speed throwing a lean fuel mixture, possibly be an 02 sensor? If so isnt there 2 one pre-cat and one post cat? Which should I replace to figure out what it is?
Oh yeah just to add fuel economy has been horrible lately with just under, 400 km per full tank, thats why I need to get this done. I drive to Toronto and back from Paris and I used to only burn a quarter tank... now its half a tank!
It more than likely is the pre-cat o2 sensor in your manifold. Just pick up a new one at a local auto parts store. They're about $60, and you could easily replace it yourself. But when you do replace it, make sure to disconnect the battery before you remove or disconnect the o2 sensor. The reconnect the battery only after you are done.
