Rough ride, not alignment, bearings but what?
Thursday, November 24, 2005 8:36 PM
2 weeks ago, I ran over a block of wood in the road and ever since my car has been riding like crap. It feels like the car is on a bumpy road all the time (when it isnt), all bumps feel very exagorated and it feels sort of like when our car's get stuck in heavy winds (any J driver should know what I mean). The car does't pull or anything, but it is terrible to drive.

I brought it in to the shop for this twice, the first time they balanbced the tires, checked the front end and found no problmes. The secon time, they checked everything in the front end and still found nothing (yet acknowledged something didnt feel right). Does anyone have any idea what this could be!

FYI- its an 01sunfire with 72000 miles, 50000 on the tires

I didn't ask about that..but that seems possible.............any guesses as to how much it costs to replace a wheel?

Its probably a bent rim.Just swap it with one of your back wheels and see if that fixes it.
