After spending a good amount of time searching for the exact problem with my headlights, I have realized I do not know where to even look for a replacement part. My problem with my car is the headlights do not turn on when you twist the headlights on with the switch. The headlights turn on when you apply pressure towards the steering wheel about halfway to the bright high beams. Through previous posts, I realize I need to purchase a new switch and do not know where to find online stores. Google-ing doesn't simplify my searching. I was wondering if anyone can list a few websites that provide cheap parts for a '98 cavalier. Any help is greatly appreciated.

i think i have a spare switch somewhere, in fact im sure i do, i just need to find it. message me if ur interested ill let u have it for cheap.
I would tese the switch first. Remove switch use a 10 gauge jumper wire it its place. Turn the headlights to the ON position, if the lights light up bad switch, if not something else.
