Question about daytime running lights
Wednesday, November 23, 2005 10:17 PM
After reading quite a few of the posts on this site (off and on for the last couple of months), I have a question about the daytime running lights on my car.

From what I pick up, every model of the Sunfire has daytime running lights always on, and if it is disabled for some reason, you get some sort of error light on the dash. In the time I've owned my Sunfire (1995 SE), I've never had daytime running lights and there has been no error light or anything in the interior. All of the other lights (lows and highs) work just fine.

It's just a matter a curiosity, but is my car weird or am I missing something somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Daytime Running Lights were not put on the J's till 1996. I owned a 1995 Cavalier and it had no Daytime Running Lights.

I had mine turned off as to not waste my $80.00 bulbs.

Yes I know I got raped on the price but when I bought them you couldn't get the yellow ones here. Now you can for 15 bucks!! UGH!!

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
