just a question but i have a 1998 cavalier z 24 2.4 obviously but it is running rich presuming that it smells like it i am curious is there any way to adjust the air fuel ratio or what could it mean if the exaust smells rich is this a problem? could anyone shead some light on this for me thanks?

A/F ratio hasnt been adjustable since before I was born.
Are you getting codes for it running to rich? If not I wouldnt worry about it because if it to rich or lean the PCM will be the first one to tell you.
