Z24 replacement CV axle problem

I have a 1996 Z24 with a M/T

The factory drive axle setup on the passenger side is a two piece deal with a carrier bearing. a solid shaft goes to the carrier bearing which is bolted to the passenger side of the engine. The origional CV is about 18 inches long and goes into the carrier bearing.

Anyway, the replacement axle that you get from an autoparts store(O'rielly's in this case but they're all the same) is one piece and replaces the carrier bearing and solid shaft that is over 3 feet long.

I know what is happening, and the problem is that the new lower angle created by the longer shaft allows the shaft CV boot to contact the sway bar end and catch. Any body have a fix for this or know where I can get a new 2 piece setup? Otherwise its next stop junkyard!

This will Make the Fourth Axle I've replaced!
