Hi. I've got a 1998 Z24, and it's running great.
However, I've got a 1997 Cavalier 2.2 and the wiring is crap.
I was wondering if any wiring diagrams exist for things like the dome light and the door switches (on the frame). Incidentally, if anyone has any secret technique for removing the door switches from the frame, the help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance...
Alldata its have great diagrams.

Thanks.
Does anyone have a username and password for AllData... 'cause I don't.
Yeah, I could really use those hard-to-find wiring diagrams too. Does anyone have any ideas where to find the really good schematics that must exist within GM? It'd be nice if you could get an entire wiring harness POSTER, without having to follow the breaks across pages. Somebody had better market that...
I have the 97 FSM set, if you need a circuit diagram from that, let me know and if its not a lot of pages, I can scan it into PDF format. I found it to be very helpful when I added power mirrors. The colors were fairly correct for what I had and even had connector pinouts.
Hey, I don't wanna put you at the risk of copyright infringement, or anything.
My first problem is with the driver door switch. It never registers as closed. Visually, it looks fine, but I have no idea where the wires go to. The dome light problem is related to that switch, as well. (Darn thing never goes off.) If you could isolate the page(s) that relate to that switch's operation, I might be able to figure it out.
My second problem is with the airbags, but I don't really have a wiring issue, I don't think. My airbag warning indicator has been on since I bought the car. All the fuses are fine. I have replaced the sensor under the passenger seat. I've done a visual confirmation on both bags, and all the wiring from the forward sensor to the column to the passenger seat and both bags is fine. Do you think you can find any tips in those manuals for me? I'm at a loss of what to do next. I haven't replaced the forward sensor, yet, so that was probably my next step. I believe there is a way to pull an airbag code off the system, but my universal OBDII reader doesn't. Is there a special reader for the airbags, or what?
Thanks in advance for any help you can, and are willing to give me...
