OK.. So I've had the car almost 2 years and my defrost wont work. Don't think the rear defrost is working that great also. But when I turn the dial to defrost or even feet the air only blows out the main vents and if it play with the dial is pretty much clicks back to the setting it was on vs the one you want it on. Its like its suck. Also Makes a small clicking like noise when on a lower setting.
Anyone else's cavalier having this type of issue? Any idea how to fix it?
Thanks
Its an 04 it should still be under warrenty unless you drive the crap out of it. Take it back
and let the dealer worry about it.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

Ur right.. 42,000 miles on it. Mostly highway. Warranty ended around 36, 37,000.
i have the same prob on my 03 cav but luckily when i bought it used the dealer sold me an extra 36k warranty goin in next week...ill let you know what is up with it...and it does suck as how i now have to scrape the frost off my windshield at night when i wanna leave.
i've got the same problem, im going to have it looked at, the mechanic said it might be a faulty vaccum line controlling the vents.
Thrice . wrote:i think you should go back and try to actually order some cam valves. see if he has any in stock. then ask him to give you an actual price and show you the website or anything legit about where he orders from...for all you know he is this dumb, and orders things that don't exist....he's probably got 10 of those ebay transistors that gave him eleventy hundred pony power....what a douche.
its most likely the steel cable that is behind the knob....its prolly just kinked and needs to be straighted out.....I had the same problem....fix the cable and didnt have to pay or take it to anywhere
