help asap...winter question

ever since it got cold i leave my car in first gear and it freezes and only goes in 1st and 2nd....and after the car warms up i can eventually shift...has any1 ever had this problem and what did u do...i tried blowing into the cables to get moisture out...i oiled them and i took that housing off the sifter linkage on the tranny and cleaned that out...and still does it...i need help asap...oh yea its a 95 cavy 2.2 5spd

i had problems with 4th when i got the ar, but i think it was in the tranny b/c it sat for 2 years, its works fine now, check your fluid if you have the Isuzu tranny

yea thinking of changing the fluid...but changed it like 20k's ago

hmm, not sure, hope ur synchors anit goin, how many miles on tranny? is it Isuzu or Getrag?(does it have a dipstick in the back?)

its a izusu...maybe 50k's on the tranny....only does it when its freezing out....when warm it works just like new

i washed my engine 2 weeks ago...so thinking i could have water in my cables...but i tied drying them over night in a heated garage...but only started doing this like 3 days ago
