2000 Z24 2.4L

Would anyone have any ideas on ending an annoying creeking noise coming from the plastic spring shaped guard inside the spring that protects the front drivers side strut (Protects from weather) everytime I hit a bump or groove in the road? Only happens in cold weather or rainy days.

It had a kink in it, but I got it out. It helped a little

Not too sure about the sleeve, but it could be a strut bearing (if it makes noise when you turn).....if its only making noise when you hit a bump then it could even be a blown shock.

It just seems to me like a rubber rain cover wouldnt make that much noise if it was broken....i could be wrong though.

I had to replace a strut bearing on my 2000 Sunfire 2.4L....cost about 150$ CND total
