Everytime i turn the wheel to the right it sounds like the steering wheel is rubbing up against the base which creates an annoying whining noise. Has anyone had this problem and how do you suggest i fix it?
Same Problem!!!! It sweeks everytime I turn it. Although I only notice it when going slow (ie. turning into driveway, parking lots, ext.) It doesn't sound like what I would call a metal-metal sweek and doesn't seem to be a problem, but is VERY annoying. I have no solutions but need help as well.
I just read my post and I sound retarted. Squeak not sweek... stupid me.
Sounds like maybe a tie-rod end....but the best idea is to get it checked out.
I get something sort of like that, the driver front tire rubs on a full stop to stop i think to the right (cant recall right now). The pass front tire doesnt touch, should I look into an alignment even though the car drives straight?
I dont think its the tire. It definitely sounds like the steering wheel rubbing.
My old Buick did that, I was just about out of power steering fluid. I put some in, and it never happened again. Try that.
Hmmm... I'll check that out here tomorrow. Thanks for the info, I will keep you updated.
