How hard is it to put struts on a 2000 cavy
Easy about 5 bolts. But you will need to have a shop compress the springs to change the strut.

or just rent a spring compressor from autozone
if you dont have air tools don't bother..
i changed mine without air tools...(took me longer but i did it lol)...i rented a spring compressor from advanced auto. what you do is you buy it ($40 or something like that) then just take it back and get a full refund.
you dont need air tools to do suspension work. ive done all mine without air tools. struts are easy to replace. remove the 3 bolts in the strut tower and 2 behind the rotor. use the spring compressor and compress the spring. get a socket and an open end wrench. use the open end wrench to hold the strut from moving and the socket to break the top nut loose. take the strut mount off and then just replace the strut. reinstall in reverse order
