k, im trying to remove the roof headliner from my cav to investigate some ugly noises im getting from up there. the problem is i have all the pegs and screws out but i cant figure out how to get the dome light out (i jammed a screw driver in the slot and it loosend one of the 3 notches but i cant get the other out becuse there is no screwdriver notch) i also cant get the pillars to loosen so i can slide the whole headliner out, the fabric is jammed into those pillars pretty good. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

a pillars, just grab the top of them and pull hard, they will come off. The b-pillar pull out the hanger hook and then give the whole panel a little pull, it will come out about an inch. And for the dome light, mine just popped off, but i dont have the map lights, so its probably different.
just did this today, dome light, just popped it off. B pillar, took hanger out pulled panel, came out a little bit but was still very tight, got a T-50 torx bit and took off the seatbelt bolts, pulled little bit more on the B pillars and voila, shes out.
And if you didn't break any clips, you did really good.
