hey i was wondering if there is a recall for spark plug misfires for 04 sunfires and cavaliers. Because its going to the shop on monday and just wanted to no and if there is how long will it take to get done like if they have to replace a coil or @!#$.

Recalls are only for safety issues, misfires arent a safety issue.

Does anybody know what has causes so many of the 2.2 Ecotec's to start misfiring like this? I have talked to alot of J-body owners and even some Malibu owners who have the 2.2 ecotec have had the same problem, it just starts misfiring one morning out of the blue. It will run and pull itself, but it only makes like 20 HP! What the H*ll causes this?

Spark plug goes bad, car stalls out, car comes to a hault, guy behind you doesn't see you, car hits you, you get put in a body cast for 8 months.
There, its now a safety issue.
Haha...j/k man.
But for the answer to the real question, I haven't seen any recalls yet.
