Do i need a Tranny/motor Mount? clunk when shift

well i just bought another cav today the car says it needs a tranny mount or something supposeably this is what it does

if taking off and on the gas kinda hard it will clunk kinda nothing too harsh but u can feel it.. its an AUTOMATIC

i rotated the tires today iw as tightning a lug and the engine seemed to move quite a bit so does it sound like a mount? n how would i know for sure how hard are they to replace ect? thanx

any easy way to tell if you need a motor mount is open the hood and push the car back and forth. you'll see the motor move if its motot mount. also the clunch you'll feel everytime the car shifts

well i shifted hard it will do it in every gear but im usually pretty light on the car and the motor does move back and fourth so its probably the mounts i guess how hard are they to replace?

Dude can't you do ANYTHING on your car without asking? Try searching, my friends 5 year old can change motor mounts.

ALSO....

DONT SHIFT YOUR AUTOMATIC...its called an "automatic" for a reason. Shifting it just makes you look stupid....believe me!!

To check if it's a motor mount, put the car in park, open the hood, and step on the gas kinda hard. If the motor moves or jumps a little bit, it could be your motor mount.

Easy way to check if it is your tranny mount is to support the car, put a block of wood on a floor jack, put it under the transmission pan, and jack it up. If the transmission lifts, then it's a bad mount.

its a transmission of course its going to SHIFT. i didnt say i was going 1 2 3 ect.. i said when it shifts.. if i hit the gas hard i hear a clunk if i dont i dont hear it

It could be your CV joints too i would at least check them.
